Our Team

Green Equity Asia is a dynamic team of experts comprising global leaders in conservation and open development. GEA was founded in 2018 by its current Director, William Ward; Community Development and Empowerment Team Executive Director, Sath Kanyara; and ClientEarth Forest Lead, Brian Rohan.

With over thirty years of international experience with environmental law and governance, information access, and community engagement, we work with partners throughout Asia to encourage green equity for those populations most vulnerable to climate change and other threats to health and livelihoods.
